Thank you to all our Derby participants for making year #2 so much fun. We hope you all had a good time and made some new fishing friends this year. A lot of you have already won raffle prizes from our sponsors and donors. We will continue with our Raffle Friday drawings on our social media pages up until our Derby Awards Ceremony at the Mad River Brewing Company’s Tap Room and outdoor patio on Saturday, April 10 from 1pm to 3pm. Save the date on your calendar. We hope to see you there!
Note: the Brewery opens at Noon on Saturdays, you are welcome to come early to help us set up.
We will hand out all the prizes and winnings as well as have two donated Beckman landing nets for you to bid on from our sponsor Don Newman at P-Line Fishing. The proceeds will go toward our non-profit organization, the Nor-Cal Guides and Sportsmen’s Association (NCGASA.org) who makes this Derby possible. For those of you who can’t make the awards ceremony, NCGASA is looking into hosting a Mad River Clean Up day on a weekend date later in April. If you’re interested in participating in a 2-hour trash and garbage pick up, please let us know.
