Every angler who registered for the 2022 Derby received a free raffle ticket into our weekly Mad River Steelhead Derby Friday Gift Giveaways. All kinds of products were donated to the Derby from various fishy sponsors. Each week (normally on Fridays), NCGASA reps will draw one name out of a jar and reveal the winner. Winners will be posted on both the MRSDerby’s Facebook page and Instagram account. Once the winner contacts us, we will deliver the prize to RMI Outdoors in Eureka and leave their prize for them at the fishing counter for pick up the following week.
MRSDerby accepts all donations all the way until the end date of the Derby. At the end of the Derby NCGASA will host an awards ceremony on TBA at Mad River Brewing Co Taproom in Blue Lake, CA sometime in the afternoon, where each registered angler who submitted an entry will go home with a prize from our sponsors. We’ll also have a silent auction at the awards ceremony in order to fundraise for the following Derby year to help us pay for the permits.
