2023 Derby Start Date: Jan. 1 at 6am
You must be signed up before Jan. 1, 2023 in order to enter the Derby. Make sure you read the RULES (click here) first before fishing. Extra Derby rulers are available at the RMI Outdoors fishing counter in Eureka. More rulers are being shipped to us from Chico.
Even if you don’t want to participate in the Derby, you can still donate any amount that we can use toward a Mad River Clean Up / Trash Day or Fish Cradle Nets for the CDFW’s Mad River Stewards Volunteer Angler Broodstock Collection Program. Click on the Giving Tuesday banner below to donate.
